Last year was the first year CS Kern sent out a Thanksgiving card. President/CEO and owner, Steve Kern asked me what I thought about sending out a thank you card to our clients. From the first mentioning of it, I thought it was a tremendous idea!

So in setting out to create the CSK Thanksgiving card, I wanted a memorable design, and I wanted to include words from all the CSK employees. A generic thank you card just wasn’t going to do. I was looking for that personal touch. I asked each employee to write a “thank you” their own words, to our clients. CS Kern’s team came up with this card:

The final file was a poster-sized layout that unfolded from two cards.

Tony Frederick and Suzi Dibble shot the photography of the “giving thanks” hands with logo box. I would be amiss to not attribute the bindery department for the crazy folding. The result was not just one thank you message, but about 35 individual messages from CS Kern that popped out to an 18 x 24 size!

Of course, Thanksgiving cards don’t have to be this complicated. It’s more about simply doing projects like this to show appreciation for those you work with.
